Visiting Camp AGQ

Parents are free to tour our camp during check-in days between 2:00-3:30 p.m. Camp Al-Gon-Quian welcomes visitors, but please arrange this with the Camp Office prior to visiting. At the same time, keep in mind that visiting campers during their session can disrupt the camp experience. Visitors must be approved by the camper’s legal guardian. If a visitor is not listed on the release section or emergency contact section of the camper’s forms, permission must be granted by the guardian and cleared with the Camp Director prior to the visit.   


All visitors must register at the Camp Office. No pets are permitted on camp property without a leash. Drinking of alcoholic beverages or use of any tobacco products on camp property is prohibited.


 

 

Camp AGQ Land Acknowledgement

It is important for us to acknowledge that our camp is situated on Odawa and Anishinabewaki tribal homelands and that those of us who are not indigenous to the region are guests there. We are committed to developing relationships and collaborating with indigenous peoples in the surrounding areas in order to honor and respect their living legacies. We are grateful for the opportunities that this beautiful region offers our program participants.
